I recently purchased the maybelline stylish smokes quad because they were on sale for $3.99! super great deal! The amethyst smokes was my favourite among the four kinds. So I decided to make a tutorial using the amethyst smokes quad. The rest of the products I used were all drugstore.

I made a list of a few products that i regret buying over the year. They are simply the products that did not work out for me.
Maybelline mineral powder foundation - gave me dry patches
ELF studio eyeshadow - chalky,powdery, you need to layer this to really get the color
Physicians formula wet/dry baked eyeshadow trio ( I never really liked the physicians formula brand. The only reason why i bought this was because I had a coupon) - poor color payoff
MAC lipglass - too sticky
ELF 2 in 1 conditioning gloss - stickier than the lipglasses, the color comes out chunky, packaging sucks
NYX circe round lipstick - this particular color washes me out
Sally hansen instadry nail polish - it dries too fast thus making application very hard, streaky, creates air bubbles
Loreal nail polish - streaky
EBAY false lashes - It came in 30 pairs (3 box). 1 box was full of lashes that were too thick and dramatic for my liking. I tried a pair and i had to remove them immediately because i looked like a hooker.

You look so gorgeous here April :) And you make blending shadows looks so easy - your makeup looks airbrushed! Yeah that's kinda funny that the pointy crease brush you used is a pen actually (on the other end) but which MAC brush were you using to blend your eye shadow? Or, was it a MAC brush? ;) Thanks in advance Hun.
Haha - it made me laugh when you said the ebay lashes were so big that you had to take them off because you look like a hooker. Gosh I love big lashes - my favourite are probably considered dramatic for most people but I think it suits me I guess? ;)
I've never liked Physician's formula products either. I find them a bit too chalky for my liking and it's over priced at that.
Really? You didn't like the MAC lipglasses? I know they're a bit sticky but my favourite is MAC Underage. I guess it's the colour because it gives me that milky pink look on top of any pink lipstick. Do you have a favourite pink lipgloss then?
